American Medical Women's Association at UT Dallas

The American Medical Women's Association is an established national organization dedicated towards advancing opportunities for women in medicine, advocate for equity, and ensure excellence in healthcare. Our chapter at the University of Texas at Dallas is dedicated towards fostering a healthier world where women in healthcare achieve equity in the medical profession and realize their full potential.

Throughout the semester, we will provide various volunteer opportunities, organize fundraisers and health clinics for women in underserved areas, host guest speakers, and have social and professional conferences online and across the country with other AMWA chapters at the pre-med, medical school, and professional level (Pre-Medical Sessions including resume/CV reviews, mock interviews, hands-on workshops, and more). We at AMWA UTD welcome individuals from various different pre-health backgrounds (pre-med, pre-PA, pre-dental, pre-pharmacy, and more!).
