Artists in Medicine

The purpose of Artists in Medicine is to empower individuals to utilize creativity in healthcare related fields and remind others of the importance in maintaining their creativity throughout the pursuance of related careers. Through visual arts, music, writing, and creative expression, Artists in Medicine strives to create a unique community where we foster our creativity and celebrate the connection between art and healthcare. We believe art can help us build empathy, observational-skills, self-reflection, and communication, holding creativity as a core value in education, care, community, and advocacy. This club is open to all majors, holds regular meetings, has volunteer and advocacy opportunities, and has creative and informative events.
