Asian Artists Association

AAA’s objective, upon establishment, is to create a new space for marginalized individuals of Asian-American, Pacific Islander, or similar descent to gather and converse, while aiding the development of their skills as artists. This organization serves to function as a community as opposed to an on-campus club or a campus-affiliated organization, in which artists from the Dallas area and beyond can continue to grow and help others. AAA seeks to fill the niche between an asian-student organization and career oriented clubs where artists can collaborate and improve their craft, while also making connections and developing their career paths. This organization also acts as a safe space for queer and gender non-conforming interaction for artists.
