About us:

Comet Energy started out as Wind Energy Club, or WEC, in 2021. Since then, we have grown from a team of 8, to over 400, and compete not only in the Collegiate Wind Competition (CWC), but also the Marine Energy Collegiate Competition (MECC) and Technology Recycling and Repurposing Competition (T-ReX).

While at first glance, this may seem engineering heavy (it is, please join us), we still need a lot of people working on data analysis, project development, marketing, presentations, outreach, communication, education etc. A large part of the competition is centered around spreading the word about the environment, reaching out to others in our community and industry. These are all incredibly valued experiences to highlight in your career, and a lot of fun!
