Google Developer Group

GDG UTD (Google Developer Group) is an interdisciplinary community of designers, developers, marketers, and industry-focused students who come together to grow as builders, regardless of background or experience. Our mission is to create hands-on learning opportunities and real solutions for the UTD community and beyond. Join us at our Kickoff, weekly Sprints, or any division meeting, all are open to everyone!

Projects

HackDSC UT Dallas' student-run hackathon. Build something in 24 hours, join workshops, and compete for prizes alongside hundreds of hackers.

Sprints Our semester-long build program where teams take a project from idea to final presentation with mentorship along the way.

Divisions

Marketing Drives our club's visibility through social media, branding, and promotional content that keeps our community informed and engaged.

Events/Engagement Plans tabling, plinth activities, fundraisers, and fun community events that bring students together outside of just tech.

Industry Connects members with tech professionals and companies through talks, panels, and networking opportunities.

Finance Manages budgeting and funding to support our events and initiatives throughout the year.

Tech Team Leads technical workshops and provides hands-on project support for members at every skill level.
