Friends of MSF at UT Dallas

Description: Friends of MSF at UT Dallas is a student chapter of Doctors Without Borders, we are an organization based on volunteering and fundraising for the purpose of both giving support to the international organization and doing our part in impacting our local community in a positive way.

​Our mission is to prove that even the smallest act of compassion can make a huge difference when we all come together.

Purpose: The purpose of this organization is to advocate and raise money for Doctors Without Borders. Many college students are unaware of what Doctors Without Borders is and what they do. DWB is based in France and works in more than 60 countries, providing medical care where it is needed the most. DWB helps with medical crises caused by war, natural disaster, poverty, and epidemics. Many lives have been saved by DWB, and I want to give the UT Dallas community an opportunity to help such a great and necessary cause. The UT Dallas chapter of DWB will also volunteer around the community and have social events for its members.
