Habitat for Humanity at UTD

Habitat for Humanity at UT Dallas is a student-led campus chapter composed of individuals passionate about community service and social impact. The organization works closely with Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity to support home construction, neighborhood revitalization, and community outreach efforts.

The chapter operates through four core functions:

1. Direct Service: Participating in home builds, repairs, and volunteer projects
2. Fundraising: Raising financial support for housing initiatives
3. Advocacy: Promoting policies and awareness for affordable housing
4. Education: Informing the campus and community about housing challenges and solutions

Members gain hands-on experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and collaborate with community leaders, nonprofits, and industry professionals. Ultimately, the organization strives to build not just homes, but hope, community, and opportunity.
