iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) Team at UTD

This purpose of this club is to provide meaningful, hands-on experience in interdisciplinary synthetic biology research through participation in the iGEM competition. iGEM teams combine wet lab and dry lab research, real-world application, community education, and website coding into one project. The organization aims to foster collaboration between students of diverse academic backgrounds, promote scientific innovation, support outreach and education, and represent UT Dallas at the international iGEM Grand Jamboree.
