Kappa Sigma is a social fraternity that was founded in 1869 at the University of Virginia and brought to the University of Texas at Dallas in 1992. The fraternity has a strong presence on college and university campuses throughout North America, with over 300 active chapters and more than 300,000 initiated members.
Kappa Sigma's mission is to promote fellowship, leadership, scholarship, and service among its members. Our fraternity aims to instill these values in its members to prepare them for a lifetime of success and contribution to society. Additionally, we aim to create lifelong commitments to the Brotherhood, cultivate leadership abilities, encourage academic excellence, and promote personal growth.
