Paper for Water seeks to establish a pipeline from folding intricate Kusudama (Japanese modular origami) to funding the development of wells and fountains for communities with limited access to clean water. This is your chance to step out of the grind, relax with crafts, EAT SNACKS, and make a lasting impact.
If you don't already fold, our officers are always around to help you & deliver origami paper to you at no cost!
Our hope is to give students a reason to reconnect with their creative side during this period of high academic focus, while supplementing this time with education on the adverse effects of dirty water and ways we can combat it. Throughout the semester, we accept origami submissions to be sold at monthly gift fairs and fundraisers, with an added bonus of earning volunteer hours for each submission.
