Society of Physics Students at UT Dallas

The Society of Physics Students (SPS) at UTD is a chapter of a national organization. Here on campus, we are an organization dedicated to serving all students with an interest in physics and astronomy. We provide resources such as research opportunities, workshops for applications and coding, and other events for professional development. Additionally, we’re a very social organization. We hold meetings, help plan department-wide social events, help coordinate astronomy events, and sometimes hold physics-based competitions. Members can also join the national organization for some extra perks like scholarship opportunities.
