Women Mentoring Women in Engineering (WMWE) is a student-led organization at the University of Texas at Dallas dedicated to fostering meaningful, long-term mentorships between female engineering professionals and college students in engineering.
Founded in 2016, WMWE bridges the gap between academia and industry by creating opportunities for students to gain guidance, support, and inspiration from accomplished mentors in STEM fields. Our unique framework focuses on one-on-one mentorships that last throughout the mentee’s college journey, empowering women to succeed academically, professionally, and personally.
Mentees will be paired with an industry mentor in their desired field. Over the semester, you will get a chance to make meaningful connections and learn more about the industry that college doesn't teach you about. We open mentee applications on January 12th! Apply with the following link: https://tinyurl.com/mentee-applications-s26. Deadline is February 2nd!
If you want to check us out first, we have an interest session on January 26th. See our Instagram for room and timing details! @wmweatutd
