Last day to sign up is 10/01/2018To sign up: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeoYW3BWV6BLoxvnNYNFg479Qj-dsD7-2X9SepBoA4H1jaP3w/viewform?usp=sf_linkDescription of event: Volunteers will assist and help prepare meals for students in the Dallas Independent School District.Volunteers will assemble the meals (using an assembly line process) into a brown paper bag with an apple and/or orange, applesauce, sandwich and dessert and then pack them into large cooler bags for delivery.Volunteers will assist in cleaning the kitchen (sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, cleaning tables, breaking down boxes, throwing out the trash, etc.)Dress Code:All attire must be clean and in good taste.All wording and drawings must not contain anything lewd, obscene, and profane content or that could be construed as offensive. Shirts that do not completely cover the underarms or belly button (muscle shirts, tank tops, halter tops, etc.) are not allowed. All personnel shall wear proper footwear at all time.No bare feet, shower shoes, open toes or slippers are allowed at any time inside the kitchen.Carpooling:Please indicate in the registration link whether you need a ride, would like to drive other student volunteers, or would like to meet us at the location. If you are willing to drive others, you will receive 1 service hour due to the distance you will be driving. If no student offers to drive, there will be no carpooling. Volunteers may park inside the gated fence or along Pueblo Street. Hunger Busters is not responsible for any theft or damage done to any volunteer vehicle and/or property.Cancellation Policy:If you need to cancel this event, you need to cancel by 10/01/2018. Failure to do so and not showing up to the event will result in a 2 hour deduction.Volunteers please be on time as you are a representation of UTD PDA.
